The PEGASUS network has been formed from an initiative taken by the four main French Grandes Ecoles involved in aerospace. The general objective of PEGASUS is to optimise the services the Aerospace Engineering Faculties offer in the best interests of Europe both in terms of continuing to attract the best students and also to offer highly relevant educational and research programmes.
+ infoAlumni

Valencia
Valencia is an ancient city. It was founded by the Roman Empire and since then it has become a really important multicultural city. Its inhabitants have changed along the centuries; Visigoths, Muslims, Jews, Catholics... It was the capital of the kingdom that ruled the Mediterranean for a long time. Its been the city of great businessmen, merchants and its streets hide a huge amount of stories about our past and history, full of plots, wars, conspiracies and mystery. Our beloved city, the "Cap i Casal" has seen the birth of popes, kings and a lot of important people that wrote a page on the history. Nowadays, it is our duty to continue this legacy and EUROAVIA València is really proud to be part of it. We want to show the world how great València is and we want that our Aerospace Industry will rise and develop to gain importance at international level. We want to spread our culture and bring richness to our land. If you want to know more about our history and our culture, click here.

Application Rules
From February the 10th, 23:59(CET) to the 20th 2016, 23:59(CET)
The first round of applications starts. At the end of this first round EUROAVIA Valencia will contact the Local Boards and will ask them to create a priority list with the applications received from their AS. We encourage the Local Boards to put one experienced member and one new member at the top of their priority list. During this first round of applications only 2 people per each AS/ PAS/ PPAS and 1 person for each WG will be confirmed according to the priority list. Further applicants will be put on a waiting list. This rule does not apply to members of the IB (priority status). All International Board and Designated International Board members should apply before this deadline. At this moment, the limit of participants is 50. Places that become available before the application deadline due to cancellation are assigned to applicants on the waiting list. Applicants from an AS/ PAS/ PPAS with less confirmed participants have priority; between them the priority list order will be followed.
Until February 25th 2016, 23:59 (CET)
The participants list will be published. If the limit of participants is not reached, all the remaining available vacancies will be filled up according to the waiting list. If there are still some vacancies and the waiting list is empty, the second and last period of applications will be opened. In this second period applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Until March 5th 2016, 23:59 (CET)
The last application deadline ends. From the 20th of February until the 25th of February, EUROAVIA Valencia will contact the Local Groups to get their Priority Lists. Today more than 2000 aeronautical engineers graduate from the member institutions of PEGASUS each year. To achieve the general goals of PEGASUS, it is essential that there exists, on an on-going basis, a close working relationship with the European Aerospace Industry and Government Agencies. At the simplest level one aim would be to accelerate the process by which employers within each nation of Europe understand and fully appreciate the nature of the undergraduate/graduate/dipl?me programmes of study offered outside their own country, and so assist in the Europeanisation of employment opportunities. A more important aim would be that of tailoring the student experience so as to maximise the advantages that can be associated with the multi-language, multi-culture nature of our industry (as opposed to the single-language culture of the competition). Even more importantly, PEGASUS members must ensure that together they offer a range of high quality and efficient programmes of support. Essentially, PEGASUS aims to offer itself as the European portal for higher education services in aerospace. PEGASUS partners have a reputation for high quality research and quality recognition in education and research. Thanks to the collaboration between EUROAVIA Valencia and the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, the 36th Council meeting of the PEGASUS network will take April 22, 2016 and the 12th edition of the PEGASUS-AIAA student conference will take place from April 20-22, 2016, both in Valencia. We will share accommodation and EUROAVIA participants will be able to attend PEGASUS conferences and raise new contacts for future projects. More info can be found here.
